Shake, Shake, Shake it!

Hey Peeps!

Shake it!  Shaker Cards with Flower Soft!!  Yep!  Here is a great idea for a different kind of card - shaker cards!  Using Globes and your favorite Flower Soft - viola a great shaker card!  

Here is what I created:

To create this card I used Shaggy Dog Papercrafting kit, Globes, Peony Flower Soft Sprinkles, and designer tape from Flower Soft and Kool Tac.  I also used American Crafts Knock out punches,  Basic Grey Papers, Bazzill, Twine from We R Memory Keepers, and paper flowers.

Happy Father's Day!

Hey Peeps!

Father's Day is just a few Days away!  What a better way to create a Father's Day card than with some Flower Soft Sprinkles and your favorite cardmaking supplies!  That is just what I did......

I used an old, old, old Stampin' Up stamp, Ultra Fine Sand Flower Soft Sprinkles, and Copic Markers to create this card.

Every Dad is a King!  This GREAT Digi stamp is from LaLa Land Crafts, the best paper for a masculine cards comes from Jillibean Soup - Macho Nacho, and Ocean and Sage Ultra Fine Flower Soft!  Of course a little Copic Coloring.....results = great Father's Day Card!  I even made my own button with Flower Soft:

I can't wait to give my Dad these cards!

Sandy Summer Fun!

Hey Peeps!

This week's challenge from Flower Soft is ........

Creating a sandy scene using Ultra Fine Sand Flower Soft Sprinkles!  Wow!  What a great challenge!  So I am going through my stash of stamps - you know what - I couldn't find any stamp that would work for what I had in mind, so I discovered - a new site for digital stamps - Make it Crafty!  

I downloaded a couple of beach scenes - got out the ole Copic Markers, my Ultra Fine Sand Flower Soft, Echo Park paper, and viola!  So without further adieu........

Now I am ready to go on a vacation to the tropics!!  {smiles}  If you don't already have Ultra Fine Flower Soft - oh, you should give it a try!  There are various colors and so EASY to work with.

Fabulous Fashions - Day 4

Hey Peeps!

Happy Monday!  What is so happy about Monday?  Well I am not a fan of Mondays but .....  when you  have a great card to inspire you and make you smile.....maybe it is not that bad!?!

Remember how I told you that downloads come with a variety of images?  Here is another one - Theatre!  This is a window display - so the view can be outside looking in or inside looking out as this one is!  This is a really fun download!  I LOVE the colors in this Whimsical Wedding Download and the fun window display!  I also used the decoupage download for the dress - layers, layers, and layers!

Hey Peeps!

Fabulous Fashions - Day 2

Hey Peeps!

Welcome back!  and happy Saturday!  I am back with another card I designed (using that word - loosely!) from the "Fabulous Fashions Downloads"  -  I love the whimsical accessories that coordinate with the dresses.  This card I used a hat from the Whimsical Wedding download.

I stamped some dots in the background, and outlined the flourishes with Spica Glitter pens.  Wouldn't you just love to have a hat like this?!

Fabulous Fashions - day 1

Hey peeps!

I have some EXCITING news for you!  Flower Soft has released a new line - Fabulous Fashions!

I have had so much fun this week making cards and projects!  So  I will be sharing a new card or project {wink wink} over the next several days!  Yep, days!!

Here is the first card - I used the Fabulous Fashion downloads - "Fancy Vines" - these are sooo easy to use, everything you need is right there including the background papers.  Just download, print, cut, and assemble!

Isn't it just beautiful?!!  I used distressed ink to stamp the sentiment!

Card Toppers and Flower Soft!

Hey Peeps!

Have you used Flower Soft Card Toppers?  They are amazing!   Choose a card topper, add some Flower Soft Sprinkles, add a sentiment - and you have a quick, easy, and beautiful card!  Did you know that you can download card toppers from the Flower Soft Website?  Here is a couple of samples of some Card Toppers Downloads:

Beautiful, aren't they?  Here is the Flower Soft Link to purchase your own downloads (here).  I used Flower Soft Diamond Range Polar White and Ultra Fine Ocean on these cards also - here is the link!

So I got a little crafty....and created this little project!  Recycle, Reduce, Reuse, and Repurpose!  I used a soup can, added flowers and baby's breath, and of course a card topper!  This whimsical card topper is from the "Little Bird" set (here).  I also used Raspberry Fizz Ultra Fine Flower Soft Sprinkles!  (here) 

I cut the hexagon scallop shape with my Silhouette Cameo, it just adds the perfect touch to an already adorable home decor piece!

Glitter and Foil - Foil and Glitter!!

Hey Peeps!

Glitter and Foil!  KoolTak {new division with Flower Soft} has Glitter, Beads, and Foil in a variety of colors!  So this week I played with those products!   I thought ummm....Graduation is around the corner and thought why not make a Graduation Card?  So with some help from Saturated Canary, Flower Soft, KoolTak, and Doodlebug.........viola!

Adorable, huh!?  My son commencement ceremony is on May 3rd for his PHD in Pharmacology Toxicology ..... think this might be the perfect card for him!

Line Art

Hey Everyone!

Graduation, Weddings, Anniversary, and Sympathy!  Just a few of the cards that are elegant and meaningful that you just want to make extra special!?!  I have had the opportunity to use yet another "hot off the press" paper crafting kit from Flower Soft - Line Art!

I love how elegant it turned out!  I used Black cardstock as the card base and to mat the layers of papers, Basic Grey papers, pearls, May Arts ribbon, and Flower Soft Line Art Paper crafting Kit to create this beautiful card!

February class sneak peeks!

Hello everyone!

CHA is around the corner and giving us some great sneak peeks.  So  here is a little sneak peek of my own!  February Class sneak peeks!  

All classes on the same day - Saturday, February 16th - the line up is.........

10-11:30 am, Year 2013 February, $18

Noon - 1:30 pm, February's Playing with Patterned papers, $18

Lunch break 1:30 - 2:30 pm, and then .......

2:30- 4:30 pm, Sketchy Recipe, $15

In this class you pick your papers/theme and I pick the sketch and together we create your customized layout!  This is becoming a favorite class among students!

La La Land Challenge Colored Hair!

Hey Everyone!

I LOVE La La Land Crafts Stamps - Luka and Marcie are so much fun!  Kinda like paper dolls from my childhood - only I color them with Copic Markers and make them into cards.  I discovered they have a group on Facebook .... so I joined.....then they have challenges......the current challenge is to color hair... ummmm not in the ordinary way.....so here is what I came up with {so much fun!}

I am really enjoying making these cards!  Who knew what fun this would be?!  I have been staying up to make a card every night....I am sure that they are other things I should be doing but ... hey,  they will still be there right?!

Butterfly Princess

Hey Everyone!

I wanted to share a new blog I have discovered "Saturated Canary"!  I must say that I love love her digi stamps!  My little Princess Winter is having her 5th birthday and what a great opportunity to use her "Butterfly Princess" Stamp.  I colored her with Copic Markers, used We R Memory Keepers Mini  Lucky 8 punch for the circle piece, Tim Holtz distressing tool, and some of my favorite embellishments.....and viola .....

Thank you Krista Smith for designing such a great stamp!

 I think that Winter is going to L*O*V*E her Birthday Card!

Nativity Stamps and Flower Soft

Hey Everyone!

Such exciting news with the release of the new "Nativity" Silhouette Stamps from Flower Soft!  I had a lot of fun with these stamps and well here is my first project created (I can never create just one!):

 A cute little gift box - just perfect for filling with a great surprise for a special person on your gift list!.

I wanted to create a manger scene, so after some careful consideration (not really but it sounds good!) -  here is what I came up with:

I really love how it turned out!  I think that I am going to have to create a few more!

I love this background paper I used (Graphic 45) - just the perfect rich color for our King of Kings and everything that goes with the Christmas Story!  So I created another card using the Nativity Sentiments:

I had so much fun creating these Glorious cards!  Now let's hop over to "Arty" Stephanie's blog and she what she has created!

Snow Globes and Flower Soft!

Hey everyone!

This week our Flower Soft challenge is the use of Snow Globes!  These were really great fun using and creating such an unique card! Select a scene, add a little Polar White Flower Soft, and a Globe Topper and viola - a Terrificly Unique Card!  Here is what I created:

La La Land and CPS

Hi everyone!

I have been having some Copic Coloring fun with La La Stamps and CPS (card positioning systems).
Although CPS has announced they are stopping their blog (wish them success in the future!)  I still love their sketches!

I used sketch #284 {here is the link}.

Here are the Cards that I created.  La La Land Crafts has a group on Facebook - so if you love La La Crafts and Stamps join the group!  La La Land Crafts had a challenge of coloring monochromatic, which I must say was a lot of fun so I combine this sketch with my monochrome Marcis!

They are so cute!  Reminds me of Rainbow Brite and her friends!
